Long time ago – excuse me if this has to come in English….. i’m thinking in English and can’t switch right now.
i wrote about my meditations on the first commandment. Well i mentioned them, wrote a little about it. I suddenly realized that the first commandment is not what we think it is, and that we got to make efforts in order to follow that commandment. Instead of thinking, as we normally do, that that doesn’t have to do with us… because to assassinate someone is far from our actions.
It is rich, i tell you, to start meditating on these commandments. That is of course how we can become really good people, instead of only superficial “good” people which is often not good at all.
Very recently i have found out what Swendenborg is saying about the commandments, and it is also very interesting. And this is how it goes. I am always pleased to have this… It ‘s a good thing in my life, i tell you.Hey! A good thing in my life ! 
And that is that i first discover, understand it inside, and then come to read it somewhere. Something strong in my soul and spirit, stops me from reading esoteric religious or spiritual literature, which might have become a burden or even a wall of deviation. It would be nice if that would be the reason for the secrets of mystery schools and for the secrets of the masons.
Try to discover for yourself. That is so nice, such an empowering feeling. I didn’t even conclude my meditations on this. As a matter of fact it was just a beginning. But i had to think of those posts of mine here at A Ilha dos Amores, when i saw this video.
For the ones who don’t know, what i considered is that in order for us not to kill, we need to feel desperate and full of desire and thirst to change our lives and society… etc. Because the most of us are co-responsible in killing.
Let me give an example: you have an intelligent mind by which you are a Phd. You have a good mind to see the relations of causality. You get a job in a laboratory, or a company or a hospital… and you don’t do research to see how the end product of what you are working in is going to be used. You think for yourself “well, that is not my responsability”. Or “that is always how it is with human beings, everything can be used for evil or for good, i can’t do anything about it”.
I recently read about a man who has been doing an expensive decades long research on some good use for one of the most poisonous substances that has been fabricated… After all that money, energy, time, work spent, of course he discovers some good use for it: it can help some people who are having spasms. Well, ja….
First things is that there were maybe already perfect medicines for people who were having spasms, (I have had it once and know how bad it is) so, this discovery is just one more on the shelves of the pharmaceutic industry. And the second thing is that they never tell you the dozen of good things that would have been discovered and done, if the same money, time, resources and effort was given to more pleasant things then fabricating poisons to kill and harm and hurt and torture people. But of course: why do they pay millions to such a ridiculous research? Because like this, the company can have an excuse to fabricate it by tons.
I suppose that when anyone reads this, he thinks “you are telling me the obvious”. But how many people do inquire into the consequences and interrelations of their work. Because all this, and much more is related to commandment one. And which commandment could be more related with the stopping of War ?How far do we go in inter-relating things, so as to really understand the causes and effects ?

How many people have worked at the development of the advanced technical knowledge in order to make a submarine invisible? And then let it go around full of nuclear arms….
So, the next great wars will be announced like this “an accident, a mistake made that that whole continent disappeared after a great nuclear explosion with the consequence of the spreading out of lethal poison all over the earth….
It sounds familiar…
I have always wondered at the people i have heard of who mentioned Atlantis, as a good and desirable example of advanced people. It is considered among many Atlantis civilization “believers” that it collapsed under some technical abuse or wrong use. So, the meditation needs to be “which mistake did they do, what was missing?”. What do we need to do differently ?
Maybe that is why some ideas of New-Age have become almost general consensus…. while I never heard anything else anymore about Atlantis… We are not supposed to remember and think: Wait a minute! We have more then technical knowledge enough and what we are missing is love.
Whether we call it Atlantis or Ancient Church, as Swedenborg explains, it is the same. And now as then, we are before the same situation and choice.
So it is maybe not surprising if what i say is nothing new. It isn’t. New is to do it. To find ways in which we can put more love in practice. And that i can not do alone.
